if a car travels at a speed of 25 mi/h for t hours, then travels 45mi/h for m hours, what does the expression 25t+45mi represent

Answer: The expression represent the distance that car traveled.

Velocity= Speed/Time meaning that Speed= Velocity x Time

(25 miles per hour x t hours ) + (45 miles per hour x m hours)= 25 miles x t +45 miles x m= (25t + 45m) miles

(25t + 45m) miles

The expression above represents the distance that the car travelled.
