Explanation: They were respectful of authority as long as they deemed it fair, just and useful to them. One such instance is shown when they get very upset at being taxed for a war that didn't affect them and without being represented in England's government. However the colonies self government seems to do well. If the majority didn't find it fair they incite a change. I hope that was helpful because that's what I'm submitting on my assignment. : )
