The second result is more precise because it's in millilitre,so if the first were to be fully precise,it should have been 78.6 cm

1 cm = 10 mm
so 79 cm = 79(10) = 790 mm
there is only 4 mm difference....but I am not sure if that is equally precise..its not exact, but its very,very close
