Sponges have a _____ that squeezes out waste.

Answer: Sponges have a contractile vacuole that squeezes out waste. A contractile vacuole is a membrane-surrounded cavity in a cell that periodically expands, filling with water, and then suddenly contracts, expelling its contents to the cell's exterior.

I hope it helps, Regards.

it's a type of membrane that regulate/control the osmotic pressure of the sponge, which will also periodically throw out it's waste

hope this helps
