The concept of manifest destiny was held in United States whereby its settlers are destined to expand across North America.

There are three basic themes which are for manifest destiny include;

1. An irreversible destiny to accomplish essential duties.

2. Mission of United States which was to remake and redeem the west image.

3. Special virtues of American people as well as their institutions.
