12.6 has a line over the 6, signifying a repeating number, so it would actually be 12.6666666... instead of 12.6, 12.63 is 0.03 less than 12.6. 12.6 is therefore bigger.

12.6 with that line means that 6 repeats forever and never ends.

12.66 is bigger than 12.63
