7. A.
The Neolithic people were always going up and down, wandering and looking for food to eat. They are always on the move, in search of food. But with the advent of farming, they do not have to wonder around for food again. Planting their own crops make it possible for them to settle down and to live in more permanent village.
8. The correct options are B and D.
The major source of water for agricultural use then was rainfall. Every year people depend on the rain for good harvest. Any fluctuation in the rainfall pattern will have effect on the planted crops and ultimately have effects on the people. Too little rain means poor harvests which will lead to starvation or even famine.
Volcanic eruption or earthquake can also easily destroy the communities, wiping out everything that they have.
