Answer:

(x2 − y2)2 + (2xy)2

= x4 + y4 − 2x2y2 + 4x2y2 (apply (a − b)2 = a2 + b2 − 2ab to (x2 − y2) and square 2xy)

= x4 + y4 + 2x2y2 (simplify)

(x2 − y2)2 + 2(xy)2 = x4 + y4 + 2x2y2

This is answer is for plato.

Hello,

(x^2-y^2)^2 + (2xy)^2=x^4-2x^2y^2+y^4+4x^2y^2\\ =x^4+2x^2y^2+y^4=(x^2+y^2)^2
