hello

the question here request we find the equation of a straight line with a given slope passing through different points

step 1

find the intercept

to do this, we need to use the standard equation of a straight line to find that

\begin{gathered} y=mx+c \\ m=slope \\ c=\text{intercept} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{slope}=(4)/(3) \\ \text{ points= (-5 , -6)} \end{gathered}

x = -5 y = -6

\begin{gathered} y=mx+c \\ -6=(4)/(3)(-6)+c \\ -6=-8+c \\ c=-6+8 \\ c=2 \end{gathered}

step 2

write out the equation using the intercept and slope

\begin{gathered} y=mx+c \\ y=(4)/(3)x+2 \end{gathered}
