Since there are no sports that require players to practice during the night (and if it happens, there would be plenty of lighting in the court), night vision is not a necessary ability to have for sports. There might be somebody that would choose or dare someone else to practice a sport during night time, but that would be a special case for those who seek challenges and thrill.
