we have that

x-y=2

solve for y

y=x-2 -------> equation
1

so

Assume a value of x and then with the equation calculate the value of y

case N 1) Assume
x=-5

substitute in the equation
1 and find the value of y

y=-5-2=-7

therefore

the answer Part 1) is

The pair of negative integers is
(-5,-7)

case N 2) Assume
x=-10

substitute in the equation
1 and find the value of y

y=-10-2=-12

therefore

the answer Part 2) is

The pair of negative integers is
(-10,-12)
