Answer :

Area of the sector = 62.85 inches²

Explanation:

\text{Given : }m\angle A = (\pi)/(10)\text{ , Radius = 20 inches.}

To find : Area of the sector

Solution :

m\angle A = (\pi)/(10)\\\\\implies m\angle A=(180)/(10)=18

Area of sector can be found by using the formula :

\text{Area of sector = }(\theta)/(360)* \pi* Radius^2 \\\\\implies Area = (18)/(360)* (22)/(7)* 20^2\\\\\implies Area=(22)/(7)* 20\\\\\implies Area= 62.85\text{ square inches}

Hence, Area of the sector = 62.85 inches²
