1 mile = 5280 ft...so 90 miles = 90 * 5280 = 475200 ft
60 seconds in 1 minute...and 60 minutes in 1 hr = 60 * 60 = 3600 sec/hr

475200/3600 = 132 ft per second...so 90 miles per hr = 132 ft per second.

so the pitcher on the Robins throws faster at 132 ft/sec compared to the Bluebirds pitcher who throws at 121 ft/sec

Answer:

The pitcher which throws a baseball faster is:

The pitcher for the Robins.

Explanation:

The pitcher for the Robins throws a baseball at 90.0 miles per hour.

We know that the conversion of miles per hour to feet per second is given by:

1 miles per hour = 1.4667 feet per second

Hence,

90 miles per hour = 132 feet per second.

The pitcher on the Bluebirds throws a baseball 121 feet per second.

Thus,

132 feet per second > 121 feet per second.

Hence, the pitcher for the Robins throws a baseball faster than the pitcher on the Bluebirds.
