Un tren de carga va a una velocidad constante de 60 km/h y pasa por un túnel de 340 m de largo. ¿Cuánto mide el tren, si es que para cruzar completamente el túnel se demora tres cuartos de minuto?

Now

the distance traveled by the train is (L + x)

d = L + x

v = 60 km ÷ h

= 16.67 m / s

And,

t = (3 ÷ 4) (60)

= 45s

Now

d = vt

L + x = (16,67) (45)

x = (16,67) (45) - 340m

x = 410.15m

Hence, the length would be 410.15m
