In standard form the equation is

5v / 13 = 25 / 39

V = 5/3 or 5 over 3.

You can solve for v by simplifying on both sides and then isolating the variable.

Hope this helps!

5*v/13-(15/39)=0

Simplify --> 5 over 13

(5 * v over 13 ) - 5 over 13 = 0

Simplify --> v over 13

( 5 * v over 13 ) - 5 over 13 = 0

5v - (5) over 13 = 5v - 5 over 13

5v - 5 = 5 * (v - 1)

5 * ( v - 1 ) over 13 = 0

5 * ( v - 1 ) over 13 * 13 = 0 * 13

5 * v - 1 = 0

Solve ---> 5 = 0

V - 1 = 0

So, that means v = 1
