solve for s in the equation 4-2s= 6+4s+10

we have

4-2s= 6+4s+10

solve for s

that means ----> isolate the variable s

step 1

combine like terms in right side

4-2s=16+4s

step 2

Adds 2s both sides

4=16+4s+2s

4=16+6s

step 3

Subtract 16 both sides

6s=4-16

6s=-12

step 4

divide by 6 both sides

s=-12/6

s=-2
