kenji buys 3 yards of fabric for $7.49. Then he realizes that he needs 2 more yards. How much will the extra fabric cost?

1 yard of fabric= 2.49. You divide 7.49 by 3 so you can get the value of 1 yard of fabric. Multiplying 2.49 by 2 since you need two more yards of fabric, the extra fabric would cost you 4.98 dollars.
