n and q are the number of nickels and quarters, respectively.
n+q = 40
n = 40-q
0.05n + 0.25q = 6.60
0.05(40-q) + 0.25q = 6.60
2-0.05q + 0.25q = 6.60
0.20q = 4.60
q = 23
n = 40-q = 17
