Demanding

Demanding has a negative connotation because it requires the person doing the demanding to take from someone or something. This is negative because the person may not feel as they are allowed to go against the demand and therefore may need to sacrifice in order to fulfill the demand. The words confident, certain and decisive only rely on the person they describe. There does not need to be any sacrifice or action from another person or thing.

Demanding, because the word itself means as in to demand something, an action or reason from someone.
