A water molecule can form four hydrogen bonds by accepting two hydrogen atoms and donating two hydrogen atoms.
Thus,
One oxygen and two hydrogen atoms are joined by a covalent bond

The statement that correctly explains the molecular structure of water is
A. One oxygen (O) and two hydrogen atoms (H2) are joined by a covalent bond.
It cannot be ionic, since ionic bonds tend to be sold at room temperature.
