The railroads played a large role in the development of the United States from the Industrial revolution in the North-east ( 1810-1850) to the settlement of the west (1850-1890).

Since the early 1800s railroads have served as a critical element of the transportation infrastructure n the United States and have generated profound changes in technology, finance, bussines-goverment relations and labor policy.

The stadisctics are shown that the group with highest rates are the farmers.

The correct answer is B. Farmers

They suffered the most because they would even have their properties seized if the railroad companies deemed that it was necessary and it was completely legal.
