The biggest obstacle to traveling by boat on the Congo River is
shallow areas due to drought
its world second largest river
there are many reasons as snakes and many more but main is the drought caused shallow areas
so option C is correct

This shallow areas created a perfect environment for the water plants to grow, creating annoying obstacles for the boat
