An autocracy is a government system in which the ruler has absolute power. Examples of this type of government are dictatorship, absolute monarchy, totalitarianism.
The other forms of government listed allow for citizen participation. Each provide varying degrees of citizen participation but an autocracy doesn't allow citizens to participate. Autocracies expect citizens to follow laws without question.
