Explanation:

sum the parts of the ratio, 9 + 7 + 5 = 21 parts

Divide the perimeter by 21 to find the value of one part of the ratio

84 in ÷ 21 = 4 in ← value of 1 part of the ratio, then

9 parts = 9 × 4 in = 36 in

7 parts = 7 × 4 in = 28 in

5 parts = 5 × 4 in = 20 in

The measure of the sides are 36 in, 28 in and 20 in
