Okay, So We Need To Convert The Two Fractions To Common Denominators.
The Least Common Denominator Is 24.
So, He Has
8/24 Red, And 9/24 Blue. Now, Add Them.
8 9 17
--- + --- = ----
24 24 24

So, He /She Can Make 17/24 Gallons Of Blue Paint.
