12×2= 24
so.
18/24 and 18/ 24

Yes they are. These fractions are not fully simplified. In 6/8 both numerator and denominator can be divided by 2 to get 3/4 and 9/12 can have both numerators and denominators divided by 3 to get 3/4. This will make the equivalent.
