Exponentials and square roots

We know that:

\sqrt[n]{7}=7^{(1)/(n)}

In this case, by convention:

\sqrt[2]{7}=\sqrt[]{7}

Then,

\sqrt[]{7}=\sqrt[2]{7}=7^{(1)/(2)}

Answer: right
