Answer:
y = -1/6x + 4
Explanation:
Use the equation
y = mx + b
(format of the equation of the line)
Choose two random points on the line. I'll choose (0,4) and (6,3) because they're easiest to identify
Finding the slope (m)
Format it as
and solve -->
--> -1/6
Finding the y-intercept (b)
Substitute the information you currently have into the equation
y = mx + b
--> 4 = (-1/6)(0) + b --> b = 4
Now that you have your slope and y-intercept, substitute it into the equation. Your final answer is
y = -1/6x + 4
