Interphase comprises the G1, S, adn G2 phases.

1. G1 phase is the first phase of interphase. It occupies the end of cell division in mitosis and the start of duplication in S phase.

2. S phase is where the cell arranges the entire copy of the DNA. This phase is considered as critical due the the accurary of DNA relication.

3. G2 phase is the third phase of interphase. This phase is where the cell advances. Organelles build up and proteins are produced in these phase.

M phase is called the mitotic phase. It is also considered as the nuclear division.

1. Mitosis is the phase where the cell break down its duplicated DNA and cytoplasm to produce the two new cells.

2. Cytokinesis is where the cytoplasm of the cell divides into two and thereby produce two new cells. It starts at the end of mitosis.

The last phase is called the Go phase or the resting phase. In this phase, the cell is considered as not active because it is no longer dividing.
