I can help you to solve your task and others like this. You can search a site which can make you an equation by values you give. Just follow the first link you see.

Day amount saved
1 6
2 6+6 = 12
3 12 +6 =18
4 18+6 = 24

Equaion: S(x) = 6x

S(x) is the amount saved, and x is the number of days.

If you need to include the original $34 as part of the savings (which is not clear in the statement) you just modifiy the equation adding 34. In this case the resulting equation is S(x) = 34 + 6x.
