Multiply the first equation by 2
8x+6y=14

Multiply the second equation by 3
9x-6y=54

Add the resulting equations together to eliminate the y terms

17x= 68
x= 4

4(4)+3y=7
3y=-9
y=-3

(x,y) = (4,-3)
