Answer: Slightly acid, almost neutral.
pOH = -log [OH -] = - log [4.2 x 10^-8] = 7.38
pH + pOH = 14 ==> pH = 14 - pOH = 14 - 7.38 = 6.62.
Remember: 7 is neutral, below 7 is acid. This solution is almost neutral.
