1. 3(4) + 3 = 15
12 + 3 = 15
15 = 15 (correct)...answer is 4

2. 18k + 4 > 18
18k > 18 - 4
18k > 14
k > 14/18
k > 7/9

2/3 > 7/9
6/9 > 7/9 (incorrect).....so k = 2/3 is not a solution

3. 3.75(3) + 6.50(4) + 14.25 > = 50
11.25 + 26 + 14.25 > = 50
51.50 > = 50 (true)....Fred can buy the video game

4. 3x + 4y + 6 = 26
3x + 4y = 26 - 6
3x + 4y = 20
there can be more then 1 answer for this, but since u dont have answer choices....x can be 4 and y can be 2

5. 3a + 4 > = 13
3a > = 13 - 4
3a > = 9
a > = 9/3
a > = 3....so solutions are : 3, 4.5, 5
