80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89 = 11 times (counting 88 as 2 eights)
98 = 1
100 to 200 = 20
208,228,238,248,258,268 = 6
8 + 11 + 1 + 20 + 6 = 46...I am getting 46 eights
