Let the width be w;
Then the length is (w+2)
A=L*W
A=(w+2)*w
A=
w^(2)+2w
80=
w^(2) +2w

w^(2) +2w-80=0
Solving by expansion;

w^(2) +10w-8w-80
=w(w+10)-8(w+10)
=(w-8)(w+10)
w= 8
Width is 8 and length is 10
