At y intercept, the co-ordinates are;
(0, -3) and the second point is (3,0)
Gradient, m=
(change in y)/(change in x)
m=
(0--3)/(3-0)
m=
(3)/(3)
m=1
y=x+c
Replacing for x and y using point (3, 0);
0=3+c
c=-3
y=x-3
