Answer:

Nitrile gloves, security goggles (the most important one), lab coat and lab mask.

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello,

The stuffs listed on the answer box are always mandatory to be used since both acids and bases are corrosive at low and high levels of pH respectively so they can harm your skin. Security goggles are ALWAYS needed as long as there are corrosive vapors that usually give off and subsequently irritate the eyes and in some circumstances (specially when we don't work carefully) some drops could splash to our eyes, causing total or partial blindness. Lab coat is mandatory due to the aforesaid reason for us to use security googles but in this case because our clothes or skin could be flecked with the drops. Lab mask is necessary as there are corrosive vapors given off by volatile (fuming) acids that could irritate our throat. In addition, fume hoods are often necessary when highly toxic and volatile acids are used to prepare diluted solutions.

Best regards.

Things such as gloves, a labcoat, and often goggles are an absolute necessary. In addition, if you get hurt you're supposed to put the other on yourself to neutralize it. Example, if acid gets on your skin, pour a base over that to neutralize the acid, and vice versa.
