Why do organisms that reproduce asexually reproduce in less time than those that reproduce sexually?

A. Asexual reproducers have less competition for finding mates because there are many more of them then there are sexual reproducers.
B. Sexual reproducers have many more predators than asexual reproducers do.
C. Asexual reproducers don’t have to spend time producing gametes, finding mates, satisfying their selection criteria, and then mating.

Answer;

C. Asexual reproducers don’t have to spend time producing gametes, finding mates, satisfying their selection criteria, and then mating.

Step-by-step explanation;

-Asexual reproduction generates offspring that are genetically identical to a single parent. In sexual reproduction, two parents contribute genetic information to produce unique offspring. Asexual reproducers,physically don't need to go out and look for a mate, spend time producing gametes, satisfying selection criteria, and then mating.

The correct answer is C. Asexual producers do not have to produce gametes or find partners. They do not have to court or date or buy dinner either. It may sound like a better system for some animals but it doesn't sound like any fun to me.
