As we are given the equation
9^(x - 2)=27
solving
=3^2(x-2)=3^3
just equal the basis
2(x-2)= 3

x=7/2=3.5
so correct option is D
hope it helps

9^(x-2)=27\\\\(3^2)^(x-2)=3^3\\\\3^(2(x-2))=3^3\\\\3^(2x-4)=3^3\iff2x-4=3\ \ \ |add\ 4\ to\ both\ sides\\\\2x=7\ \ \ \ |divide\ both\ sides\ by\ 2\\\\\boxed{x=3.5}
