Question 1. Considering the reaction of the decomposition of N2O5 to form the products NO2 and O2, calculate the average reaction rate if at 0.00s the concentration of N2O5 was 1.00 M and at 4.00s it decreases to 0.987 M?

2 N2O5 4 NO2 + O2
4.97 × 10-1 mol/(L × s)
7.27 × 10-2 mol/(L × s)
6.50 × 10-3 mol/(L × s)
3.25 × 10-3 mol/(L × s)

average reaction rate = change in concentration / change in time
by putting values we have

= (1.00M - 0.987M) / (4.00s - 0.00s)
= 3.25x10^-3 mol/Lsec
this is our conclusion
hope this helps
