Answer:

1)y=x+5 y=6

substituting y=6

x+5=6

x=6-5

×=1

y=1+5

y=6

(1,6)

answer is the second one

2)y=-x-3 y=-2

substituting y=-2

-2=-x-3

-2+3=-x

1/-1=x

-1=x

y=-x-3

-1-3

y=-4

(-1,-4)

Explanation:

For no. 1

y = x + 5 and y = 6

Now substituting

6 = x + 5

x = 6 - 5

x = 1

so choose ( 1 , 6)

For no. 2

y = - x - 3 and y = - 2

Now substituting

- 2 = - x - 3

x = - 3 + 2

x = - 1

so choose (- 1 , - 2)

Hope it will help:)
