basically, ur just solving for y
6x + 4y = 8...subtract 6x from both sides
4y = -6x + 8....now divide both sides by 4
y = (-6/4)x + 8/4...reduce
y = -3/2x + 2 <=== slope intercept form

as the given equation is
6x+4y=8
so your giong to find the value of Y
4y=-8 -6x
finding y
so for this divide by 4 on both sides
y= 8/4 - 6x/4
y = (-6/4)x + 8/4
y=
-3/2x + 2 is the slope intercept form
hope it helps
