Explanation:

\tt{1. \: {a}^(6) * {a}^(8) = {a}^(6 + 8) = \boxed{ \tt{{a}^(14)} }}

\tt{2. \: \: {x}^(5) * {x}^(3) = {x}^(5 + 3) = \boxed{ \tt{{x}^(8) }}}

{ To multiply two terms with same base , their indices are added and the same base is taken }

Hope I helped ! ツ

Have a wonderful day / night ! ♡
