94.12% of 2125 =
0.9412(2125) = 2000.05 finished

To determine the number of persons (racers) who finished the race, we just have to multiply the number of runners at the start, 2125, by the decimal equivalent of the given percentage, 0.9412. That is,
n = 2125 x 0.9412 = 2000
