f(x) = 5x - 4.....slope is 5

g(x) : (0,1)(2,5)
slope = (5 - 1) / (2 - 0) = 4/2 = 2 .....slope is 2

h(x) : (1,14)(4,15)
slope = (15 - 14) / (4 - 1) = 1/3..slope = 1/3

so the smallest slope would be : h(x) with a slope of 1/3
