5 / ( 5 + 4 + 3 ) = 41.6%
All the balls make 100% of the balls (12), 5 balls are blue, so you divide 5 blue balls, by 100% of the balls (12) to arrive at the percentage of probability of pulling a blue ball from the bag.

Answer:
41.7\%

Explanation:

Given: The number of blue balls in the bag= 5

The total number of balls in the bag=
5+4+3=12

If a ball is picked from the bag at random, then the probability that it is a blue ball will be given by :-

\text{P(Blue)}=\frac{\text{Blue balls}}{\text{Total balls}}\\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{P(Blue)}=(5)/(12)=0.41666\approx

In percent , the probability that it is a blue ball =
0.416666*100=41.666\%\approx41.7\%

Hence, the probability that it is a blue ball is
41.7\%.
