The correct answer is C) Agriculture societies had a higher population than hunter-gatherer societies.

The statement that is true about agricultural societies is “Agriculture societies had a higher population than hunter-gatherer societies.”

Agriculture societies had more population because they could settle in one place and worked the land. They stayed there, harvest its crops and raised a family. In their land, they could establish a way of life. They had the basic necessities covered. Hunter-gatherer societies had less population because they had to hunt to get food. Their survival depended on hunting animals and many times the could not settle in just one place because the had to follow the migration of animals. Life was more difficult for hunter-gatherers.

The answer is C. Agricultural societies had a higher population than hunter-gatherer societies. The low rate at which natural ecosystems generate edible energy influences many aspects of hunter–gatherer societies. Most notably, the number of people per unit area, or population density.
