Communication a person's ability to openly and clearly express themselves toward other people. Communication is mainly used to pass down information and to explain certain needs or wants. This is connected to parenting in two main ways. 1. By allowing both parents to figure out how they want to raise the child. 2. The parents of the child use communication in order to teach the child. Financial issues can take a big toll on parenting. If the parents constantly need to work in order to support their family than the child is left with little parental bonding. It may make the child feel detached from the family or resentful toward the parents. If the family makes little money than the child could be physically effected if he/she doesn't get the nutrition they need. Positive communication is a person's ability to clearly express themselves to another person without intimidating the other or appearing too timid. These people are able to compromise and explain their thoughts and reasons for their actions. Negative communication occurs when a person is unable to express their thought process. These people are either too shy to express themselves or they may appear to be haughty and disrespectful to the person they are communicating with. Divorce mainly affects children in psychological ways. The most common effect is that children often blame themselves for the divorce which can led to depression in some cases. Other children resent their parents for the divorce and lash out in anger. Another affect of divorce on children is trust issues. If one parent goes away than younger children may belief that other people in their life could also easily "walk out" on them. Tips For Parents 1. Keep in mind the child's point of view and age when speaking to them. Young children shouldn't be expected to think like adults and older children shouldn't be treated like infants. 2. Be respectful and don't lose your temper. It often takes children a while to understand certain concepts. 3. Let the child know that you are only looking out for their best interests.

Communication = a process to speak up one's mind, feeling, or opinion to other people

In parenting , communication is important to maintain a healthy relationship with their children

Financial issues could lead to parents not having enough time to communicate with their kids at home, which will make the kids resent the parents because they're not there enough

Negative communication occur when a person communicate their mind in a bad behavior, such as vandalism , or drug using. Meanwhile, positive communication is when someone can express their mind without intimidating others and do it effectively

Divorce may make the children feel neglected and unloved

Three tips :
- Try to see things in your child point of view, they're not matured yet
- Do not lose temper easily
- express your love, by hugging, head patting, etc

hope this helps
