How is the equation f(x)=2|x-3| different from the equation f(x)=2|x|-3 ?

Answer:

f(x)=2|x-3|

f(x)=2|x|-3

The lines!

Explanation:

If you see the first one the lines are around x-3 which looks like this: |x-3|

In the second one the lines are only around x like this: |x|
