What is 16=10/3a equal

1. You would multiply both sides by 3a to kill the fraction: (3a)16=10/3a(3a)

2. 3a times 16 equals 48a, and 10/3a times 3a equals 10, so your new equation is 48a=10

3. Now since you want to get a by its self, you would divide both sides by 48

4. The new equation is now a=10/48

5. That can be simplified to a=5/24
